       Jason Thomas Mraz  born June 23, 1977 is an American singer-songwriter who first came to prominence on the San Diego coffee house scene in 2000. In 2002, he released his debut studio album, Waiting for My Rocket to Come, which contained the hit single "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)". With the release of his second album, Mr. A-Z, in 2005, Mraz achieved major commercial success. The album peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 and sold over 100,000 copies in the US. In 2008, Mraz released his third studio album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. It debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 and was an international commercial success, thanks in large part to the hit "I'm Yours". The song peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100, giving him his first top ten single, and spent a then-record 76 weeks on the Hot 100. His fourth album, Love Is a Four Letter Word, peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200, his highest-charting album to date.

Mraz has won two Grammy Awards and received two additional nominations, and has also won two Teen Choice Awards, a People's Choice Award and the Hal David Songwriters Hall of Fame Award. He has earned platinum and multi-platinum certifications in over 20 countries, and has toured in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, the Middle East and parts of Africa. As of July 2014, Mraz has sold over seven million albums, and over 11.5 millions digital singles. His musical style, from rhythmic feeling to use of nylon string guitar, has been heavily influenced by Brazilian music.

                Mraz was born and raised in Mechanicsville, Virginia. He is of Czech descent through his grandfather, who moved to the United States from Austria-Hungary in 1915. His surname is Czech for "frost". (Czech: mráz) His parents, Tom (Tomáš) Mraz and June, divorced when he was five years old, but he maintains that he had an idyllic childhood, saying, "My hometown of Mechanicsville was very American. There were white picket fences, a church on every street corner, low crime and virtually no drug use. It was a good place to grow up." After graduating from Lee-Davis High School, where he was a member of the cheerleading squad, Mraz attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York for about a year and a half, before returning to Mechanicsville and taking on a series of odd jobs.He then enrolled at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia, but instead of attending classes, headed west on a road trip that ultimately brought him to San Diego, where he decided to stay.

                Wardell Stephen "Steph" Curry II, born March 14, 1988. He is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is son of the legendary basketball player named Dell Curry. Curry played college basketball for Davidson College. There, he was twice named Southern Conference Player of the Year and set the all-time scoring record for both Davidson and the Southern Conference.

            During his sophomore year, Curry also set the single-season NCAA record for three-pointers made. Curry was selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors. During the 2012–13 season, he set the NBA record for three-pointers made in a regular season with 272. The next season, Curry and teammate Klay Thompson set an NBA record for combined threes in a season with 484 as the pair were given the nickname the "Splash Brothers".

            

          Curry was born in Akron, Ohio but grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina while his father, Dell, played for the Charlotte Hornets. Curry's father would often take him and his younger brother, Seth, to his games where they would sometimes shoot around with his team during warm-ups. As a child, he attended a Montessori school that had been started by his mother, Sonya.

Curry went to high school at Charlotte Christian where he was named all-state, all-conference, and led his team to three conference titles and three state playoff appearances. The then-6-foot (1.8 m), 160-pound senior did not receive any scholarship offers from major-conference schools. Since his father played for Virginia Tech and is in their Hall of Fame, Curry wanted to play for the Hokies, but they only offered him a place as a walk-on player. After receiving scholarship offers from Davidson, VCU, and Winthrop, he chose to attend Davidson, a school that had not won an NCAA Tournament game since 1969.

The Golden State Warriors selected Curry with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft. He subsequently signed a four-year, $12.7 million contract in July 2009.[39] Curry made his NBA regular season debut on October 28, 2009 in the Warriors' 2009–10 season opener against the Houston Rockets. He started the game and finished with 14 points, 7 assists, 4 steals and 2 turnovers in 36 minutes of play.

On February 10, 2010, Curry got his first career triple-double when he recorded 36 points, 13 assists, and 10 rebounds. On April 7, 2010, Curry recorded 27 points, 14 assists, 8 rebounds and 7 steals as then-head coach Don Nelson set a new NBA record for career coaching wins with 1,333.

Curry was a contender for the 2009–10 NBA Rookie of the Year Award, but ended up finishing second behind Tyreke Evans. He was one of three unanimous selections to the All-Rookie First Team, alongside Evans and Brandon Jennings. Curry averaged 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.9 steals for the season.
